Overview

We are looking for an experienced learning and development manager to design our organizational training strategy, deliver and oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. You will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives to ensure the successful onboarding and job performance of our employees. Your work will be a foundational part of how we influence a culture where every employee is supported to do their very best work.

The Manager, Employee Learning & Development role at TapClicks will focus on employee onboarding and continuing development for training related to our products, tools, culture, and company practices. As such, this position will work across many functions to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical and the overall needs of the company. This role will be central to driving critical outcomes that enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.

What you get to do in this role…

  • You’ll be fully accountable for delivering the overall plan for new employee onboarding as well as product and process training for existing employees
  • You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success, Engineering, Products, and Corporate functions to design training materials and programs that meet the needs of our business
  • You’ll identify and assess current and future training needs through an understanding of the company’s SaaS-based software offering, job analysis, career paths, and consultation with department managers
  • You’ll deploy a wide variety of training methods to reach audiences distributed across geographies, including enablement of online and certification-based training programs
  • You will create and deliver impactful and high-quality classroom, video, and recorded training with materials you resourced and developed
  • As a key influencer in the business, you’ll monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness in impacting business KPIs
  • You’ll own training delivery operations and will schedule, organize, and coordinate all training sessions

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a training leader with a strong track record of designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Good computer and database skills
  • SaaS experience highly desirable; Marketer or Marketing Technology experience a big plus
