The Role:

The Manager / Sr. Manager – Email Demand Gen is a critical role for our success. She/he will be a key leader in building a high volume, high quality pipeline that converts effectively into opportunities and wins. She/he will work closely with the VP - Marketing & Customer Experience and build/ manage a high converting funnel from our email database of targets within Ad Agencies, Media Companies and Brand Advertisers . She/he will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Email marketing, Building Lists, Capture and Nurture Workflows and Account Based Marketing. She/he will have overall ownership for managing all our data and campaigns in our prospect database and that is used effectively in conjunction with the website, email campaigns, ad campaigns targeted to email contacts, social media, joint email campaigns with Partners, Content syndication email blasts and integrating emails with industry event targeting etal. She/ he will be an effective writer who can write her/his own copy for emails and landing pages in addition to being able to select the right images for content. She/he would have worked in HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce.


Essential Functions

This is a multi-faceted role, with the following key responsibilities

  1. Email Marketing: Build whole campaigns that are end-to-end, multi-phased and address all stages of a buyer’s journey. Build and execute workflows in Marketo. Report the results. Sync integrated campaigns with the PPC/SEM campaigns. Her/his team has current resources who don this so a good working knowledge will suffice. The main requirement is expertise in PPC/ SEM management and ability to lead others in Email marketing.

  2. Prospect Database ownership: identify, select and enhance our prospect and customer database sources for relevance to domain, target industry and customer size and analyze results and manage the procurement and refresh of the contacts. Her/his team has current resources who don this so a good working knowledge will suffice. The main requirement is expertise in PPC/ SEM management

  3. Integrating email campaigns with Events, Ads, Social media, Partner marketing

  4. Writing copy for emails and landing pages and selecting images

  5. Interactive content and video in emails, any technical knowledge is a plus esp, HTML, CSS


20% or less.




  1. Degree in Marketing, Business, IT or Engineering. Technical degree preferred

  2. 4-10 years’ experience managing AdWords (most important), Linkedin, FB Bing, Email campaigns.

  3. Experience in Text/Display, Referral, Resurrection, Competitive, Partner, Social campaigns

  4. Experience working in or for a Digital Ad Agency or another Martech platform targeting Ad Agencies and Media companies is preferred

  5. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web programming languages is strongly preferred

  6. Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: Digital Marketing, Marketing Reporting, Marketing Analytics & Dashboards, Marketing Operations Management, Media Company / Publisher Sales/ Account Management/ Operations, Advertising Agency Sales/ Account Management/ Operations, Hyper Local Marketing, Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech, Programmatic Marketing

  7. Strong written communication skills. Must be able to write interesting copy

  8. A true team player that collaborates well to drive cross-departmental projects

  9. Prior international experience in UK, Nordics, France, Germany, Singapore, Australia is a plus
