Corporate Controller

  • Provide financial accounting leadership and daily direction in accordance with the overall strategic direction of the company 
  • Oversee the accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, and payroll 
  • Manage monthly close process along with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement preparation 
  • Act as the company’s GAAP expert, ensuring compliance with all financial reporting regulations including ASC606 
  • Participate in and facilitate revenue recognition related decision-making in contract negotiations 
  • Support business expansion internationally with multiple legal entity structure 
  • Support equity and debt fund-raising due diligence 
  • Ensure corporate accounting structure can support potential acquisitions 
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures that balance internal control with customer-friendly efficiency 
  • Be a key player on a team that will select and implement an ERP and planning system with multiple legal entity consolidation and reporting 
  • Manage worldwide accounting processing reporting and tax compliance and work closely with India finance team 
  • Manage annual audit process, including preparation of financial statements and notes 
  • Manage stock administration 


  • 10 to 15 years progressive hands-on accounting experience in a SaaS or technology services businesses
  • CPA is a must, and preferably Big Four or other national accounting firm experience
  • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics
  • Experience in M&A and international expansion 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills; ability to confidently and effectively communicate with all levels within the Company; experience with teams in India a plus
  • Must be both “hands on” and a proven and effective leader with record of developing reports
  • Team player 
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP for SaaS required 
  • Expert with QuickBooks online and past experience with installing new ERP systems 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; MBA a plus 
  • Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics 
  • Experience in software and recurring revenue models strongly preferred 
  • Excellent financial reporting skills, including variance discussion and analysis 
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast-paced operational environment 
  • Take ownership; ability to set a strategy and motivate others to achieve necessary deliverables
